Lean Body Mass & Exercise Performance

• Regular consumption of whey protein in conjunction with exercise revealed improvements in strength and muscle growth when taken daily for 6-21 weeks. Daily protein requirements vary on the type and intensity of exercise, but range from 0.55-0.75 grams of protein per pound of body weight each day. Of note, inconsistent consumption of whey protein (not taking daily) was shown to reduce benefits for athletic performance.
• Whey protein supplementation of 20-25 grams per day was shown to result in higher blood amino acid concentrations compared to other protein sources, and also resulted in greater stimulation of muscle protein synthesis when consumed following exercise.

Weight Loss

• Consuming 20-80 grams of whey protein is shown to increase satiety (feelings of fullness) and decrease appetite. A systematic review of 35 random controlled trials showed favorable improvements in healthy weight loss, including reductions in body mass index (BMI), body fat mass, and waist circumference.

Suggested Use: Add one level scoop to 8-10oz of your favorite cold liquid (water, milk, juice etc.). Adjust the amount of liquid to reach the desired flavor and consistency. For best results, consume one to three (1-3) times daily.
